ORLANDO, Fla. -- The area of low pressure that brought Central Florida some much-needed rain could strengthen into a depression.
The system was located off the southeast coast of Georgia on Friday morning.
"The low, as it tracks up the coastline, has the potential to become a subtropical or tropical depression," WESH 2 Weather Plus meteorologist Jason Brewer said.Residents of South Carolina and North Carolina were urged to monitor weather reports for updates on the system.
