ORLANDO -- Gail Paschall-Brown has been a reporter with WESH 2 News since 1997, and she also anchors the station's noon newscast.

Gail was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and attended East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C.

She has two "very smart, loving kids" named Jasmine and Joshua.

Gail says that her favorite parts of her job are learning about many different things helping people, especially newcomers to the area. She also enjoys finding exceptional children for her Good Kids segments.

She said that playing with her kids offers her the biggest thrill. She also is a fan of Lifetime TV and movies.

Her favorite restaurant is the Olive Garden, and she loves watching the movie "The Color Purple." Gail also likes to read books to children, and she particularly enjoys reading the kids' book "Amazing Grace."

Gail's proudest professional achievement was when she won the Broadcaster of the Year award, an honor that was voted on by her peers.
