ORLANDO, Fla. -- On those mornings when you're running late and have to catch the bus, you may still be able to catch the news.WESH 2 News is now airing on all 238 Lynx buses that service about 40,000 riders each day.Lynx officials said riders can watch the news updates on televisions aboard the bus.
"We've done surveys on it. The majority of people, over 90 percent, love it, and for that, we'll keep it. We'll look at expanding it and making it even more efficient for people, and make it more informative for them, so they can enjoy the ride a little bit more and get what they need," Lynx spokesman Brian Martin said. With the help of Lynx and Transit Television Network, WESH 2 News updates air twice every hour, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.Transit Television Network started their operation in Orlando, and they're going to expand into Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta. It could be the start of some bigger things to come as more people take their news on the road.
