Danielle Bellini

News Reporter

Danielle Bellini joined WESH 2 News as a news reporter in January 2008.

Many viewers will remember waking up with Danielle when she provided traffic reports during WESH 2 News Sunrise for three years.

But Danielle is now trading her traffic reporting job to hit the streets to cover the day's news.

Before making a beeline to WESH 2 News, she kept her eyes on the roads in New York City. Danielle was a traffic reporter for Metro Traffic & Weather and News 12 Networks in New York. At Metro Traffic & Weather, she reported live traffic updates for the entire Tri-State area.

Born in Bayside, N.Y., Danielle graduated from Boston University with a degree in journalism and a minor in theater arts. While living in Boston, she worked as a general assignment reporter for a local cable channel and worked with the special features team at the NBC affiliate WHDH-TV.

Danielle's news experience is not limited to television. When she was based in Washington, D.C., she served as a print reporter and Washington correspondent covering the political beat for the Keene Sentinel in Keene, N.H.

In Washington, she worked at Fox News Channel's Washington bureau. Danielle also worked at Fox News Channel headquarters in New York City, as an intern for "The O'Reilly Factor."

Danielle is back in Central Florida after previously working for Disney-MGM Studios while on the Walt Disney World college program.

When she's not reporting, she loves to dance and perform in musicals. Her favorite times are spent traveling with family and friends.
