University of Florida alum Guy Rawlings loves to cover sports from the field. The 13-year television sports veteran proved his passion for live sports reporting on his very first day at WESH-TV. Guy hit the ground running by traveling across the country to cover his beloved Florida Gators in their quest for a national championship.

Guy joined WESH-TV from WTVJ-TV in Miami where he has worked as a weekend sports anchor, sports reporter and fill-in news anchor since July 1998. Prior to coming to Miami, he worked at ABC affiliates in Charleston, S.C., and Baltimore, plus in Jacksonville and Gainesville, Fla.

During his days in Miami, he covered two Super Bowl championships, two World Series, and the Miami Heat, including their 2005-2006 championship season. He was rewarded for his work with an Emmy Award for a special he did on Dan Marino's induction into the Hall of Fame.

In his spare time, Guy enjoys watching football -- especially the Gators -- basketball and playing tennis.
