NASA managers are keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Hanna on Wednesday.
Kennedy Space Center was placed on a hurricane alert, and mission managers said that means space shuttle Atlantis needed to stay safely inside the Vehicle Assembly Building on Wednesday, rather than being taken to the launch pad as planned.
NASA officials said the space shuttle rollout is now tentatively set for Thursday at 10 a.m.Technicians are still working on the mission and said they hope to keep the launch on schedule for Oct. 8.
