The chance of finding life on Mars has increased.
The Phoenix Lander found Martian soil similar to what is found on Earth.
One scientist said some vegetables could be grown in the soil, and chemical-loving bacteria would thrive in it.The only thing that's missing is organic carbon, which is considered a necessary building block for life. The Phoenix Lander touched down on Mars' North Pole one month ago.
