Tips For Fans At Speedway

Race fans planning to attend events at the Daytona International Speedway should know the property is extensive and covers about 480 acres. There are approximately 168,000 permanent seats that encircle the track, but if you could not get one of these prized seats, there is additional room for spectators in the 180-acre infield.

What To Bring

The Daytona International Speedway stresses safety as a top priority for guests at any of the events.

Items allowed inside the facilities:
  • One soft side bag or cooler (under 6 x 6 x 12 inches)
  • One clear plastic bag (under 18 x 18 x 4 inches)
  • Binoculars, scanners, headsets, cameras (not in a bag), seat cushions
Items not allowed inside the facilities:
  • Firearms, fireworks and items restricted by local, state and federal law
  • Hard-sided coolers, thermos or insulated cups
  • All items restricted by track policy
  • No strollers, umbrellas, bags, backpacks or containers

Souvenirs

The Daytona International Speedway offers opportunities to make your experience a memorable one. Guests can obtain souvenirs at either one of these locations:
  • Pit Shop
  • Souvenir Row at Fan Walk
  • Souvenir stands
The souvenir programs consist of the following:
  • Limited-edition collectible die-cast car
  • Starting lineup
  • Program protector
  • Scanner frequencies

Traveling To Daytona

For those traveling to the Daytona International Speedway from out of town who need a place to stay, all information is available at the Official Daytona Beach Welcome Center located inside the main lobby of Daytona USA, or travelers can call the Daytona Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau at 386-255-0415 or toll free at 800-854-1234.

Race Tickets

To find out information on tickets to the events at Daytona International Speedway: Children ages 11 and under are admitted into the infield free of charge only when accompanied by a paying adult. Children of all ages must pay full ticket price to enter the Nextel Fan Zone area.

Speedway Directions

For front-stretch ticket holders, including Oldfield, DePalma, Weatherly, Campbell, Roberts, Segrave, Keech and Lockhart grandstands and Nextel, Petty and Earnhardt Towers

From the North (Jacksonville): Interstate 95 south to U.S. Highway 1 (Exit No. 273). Go south on U.S. 1 to state Road 40 (Granada Boulevard). Turn right onto westbound S.R. 40 to Clyde Morris Boulevard. Go south on Clyde Morris to Parking Lot No. 7. Free parking and shuttle available.

From the South (Melbourne): Interstate 95 to LPGA Boulevard (Exit No. 265). Go East on LPGA Boulevard to Clyde Morris Boulevard. Take Clyde Morris south to Parking Lot No. 7. Free parking and shuttle available.

From the East (Daytona Beach Area): From state Road A1A, take any one of the area's bridges to U.S. Highway 1. Take U.S. 1 to Mason Avenue. Go west on Mason Avenue to Clyde Morris Boulevard. Go north on Clyde Morris to Parking Lot No. 7. Free parking and shuttle available.

From the West (Orlando): Take Interstate 4 east to state Road 44 (Exit No. 118). Go east on S.R. 44 to U.S. Highway 1. Go north on U.S. 1 to state Road 400 (Beville Road). Take S.R. 400 west to Clyde Morris Boulevard. Go north on Clyde Morris to Parking Lot No. 7. Free parking and shuttle available.

For super-stretch ticket holders, including Allison, Tiny Lund and Turn 2 grandstands

From the North (Jacksonville): Interstate 95 south to U.S. Highway 1 (Exit No. 273). Go south on U.S. 1 to state Road 5A (Nova Road). Go south on Nova Road to state Road 400 (Beville Road). Go west on S.R. 400 to Clyde Morris Boulevard. Go north on Clyde Morris to Bellevue Extension. Take Bellevue Extension west to Lot No. 10. Free parking and shuttle available.

From the South (Melbourne): Interstate 95 north to state Road 44 in New Smyrna Beach (Exit No. 249). Take state Road 44 east to U.S. Highway 1 (Dixie Freeway). Take U.S. 1 north to state Road 400 (Beville Rd.) Go west on Beville Road to Clyde Morris Boulevard. Go north on Clyde Morris to Bellevue Extension. Go west on Bellevue Extension to Lot No. 10. Free parking and shuttle available.

From the East (Daytona Beach Area): From state Road A1A, take any of the area's bridges to U.S. Highway 1. Go south on U.S. 1 to state Road 400 (Beville Rd.) Take Beville Rd. west to Clyde Morris Boulevard. Go north on Clyde Morris to Bellevue Extension. Take Bellevue Extension west to Lot No. 10. Free parking and shuttle available.

From the West (Orlando): Take Interstate 4 east to state Road 400. Take S.R. 400 east to Williamson Boulevard. Go north on Williamson to Parking Lot No. 10. Free parking and shuttle available.

Park And Ride

Park and ride provides transportation to and from the Speedway from offsite parking areas free of charge. The Park and Ride locations are as follows:
  • Lot 7 at Bill France and Clyde Morris Blvd.
  • Lot 10 at Williamson Blvd. and Bellevue Ext.
  • Note: Bus service will start one hour prior to gate openings

Concession Stands

Concession stands will be open all day and serve hot food, beverages and a variety of snacks. Complimentary cups of water are also provided to guests.

Disabled Services

The Daytona International Speedway welcomes guests with disabilities and offers many accessible accommodations for them. Parking for the disabled is available at:
  • Lot 1, Daytona USA and Front-stretch)
  • Lot 6, Super-stretch)

Disabled guests must have an authentic and authorized state-issued sticker or license plate for parking in these designated areas.

Other services provided for guests with disabilities include:
  • Assistance carts
  • Elevator access
  • Transportation services (buses, tram service and shuttles)

Guests and their service animals are allowed within the facilities, but guide animals must be on a leash at all times and must wear a harness.
