It looks like Gov. Charlie Crist is losing some fans in the Sunshine State, according to a new Mason-Dixon Poll released Friday.

The poll, which surveyed 625 registered voters from across the state, shows that Crist's excellent or good approval rating has fallen 4 points since last November to 57 percent.

His fair or poor ratings have gone up 7 points to 41 percent.

Of those living in areas that were affected by Tropical Storm Fay, 29 percent of the state said they would rate the performance of local officials in dealing with the storm as excellent. A good rating was given by 43 percent of the state's voters, and 5 percent of the state's voters said local officials' performance was poor.

As for oil drilling off the Florida coast, 61 percent support it, while 32 percent are opposed and 7 percent are undecided.

Florida voters are strongly in favor of Amendment 2, which denies legal recognition of gay marriage: 57 percent are in favor, 36 percent oppose and 7 percent are undecided.
