DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- A 13-year-old girl said a man tried to grab her while she was running with her Warner Christian Academy cross country team in Daytona Beach.

The runner said she was a bit ahead of the rest of the team while running along Ridgewood Avenue.

She turned onto Wilder Boulevard and said she saw a man waiting by his car, so she crossed the street.

That's when the man came after her, told her to get in his car and grabbed her shirt, the girl said.

The runner was able to break free and run away from the assailant.

A composite sketch of the attacker was released, but he has not been caught.
