The latest polls show the number of undecided voters shrinking as Election Day nears, and that puts a premium on each voter still on the fence.

A Seminole County restaurant drew supporters of Republican John McCain. The supporters said they saw a comfortable, capable candidate who they believe appeals to voters.

"I thought it was great that he started to offer specific solutions for America's problems on the economy right off the bat," McCain supporter Jason Brodeur said.

In Orange County, it was theater-style seating for backers of Democrat Barack Obama. The crowd watched and applauded from the Premiere Cinemas in Orlando.

"I think he's done very well. I'm very proud that he's really speaking about the issues, and he's really addressing a lot of the concerns I think Americans have," Obama supporter Sharita Tolliver said.

The Gallup Organization chose 80 uncommitted voters from Nashville to attend the debate. While the audience posed questions for the town-hall forum, a WESH 2 News Mason-Dixon Poll showed 5 percent of voters -- potentially 600,000 voters -- are undecided.

Some local undecided voters in a WESH 2 News focus group reacted to the candidates.

"I enjoyed what McCain said about doubling the tax credit for children from $3,500 to $7,000," Brevard County undecided voter Carrie Volpe said.

"McCain is blowing it. Obama did this, did that. Tell us exactly how you're going to help. I liked Obama's response better," Volusia County undecided voter Jim Herring said.

"John McCain is totally lost. He cannot answer one question. Obama is giving specifics as to what he will do," undecided voter Dave Haluka said.

"McCain knows how to handle the war. Obama knows how to handle the economy, so what's more important?" University of Central Florida student and undecided voter Courtney Paradise said.
