A Merita Bread delivery man remains in critical condition Wednesday after being shot in a drive-by attack during his morning run Tuesday.

Tom Jergins was shot near the Pine Hills' Lotto and Food store Tuesday morning, WESH NewsChannel 2 reported.

Jergins told police he heard gun shots as he was getting out of his truck. He then realized that he had been shot.

He managed to stagger into the store, and a UPS driver next door called 911.

Orlando police are still searching for the suspects.
