ORLANDO, Fla. -- Authorities at Orlando International Airport investigated a suspicious package found in a parking lot on Monday morning.

The package was found inside the parking garage under a car on the terminal's A-side and the area was shut down but has since reopened.

The Orange County Bomb Squad X-rayed the package.

Travelers who had cars near the area where the package was found were forced to stand and wait.

"I'm paying by the hour for my car to be there, and it's been here for a week already," traveler Brian Pike said.

Airport operations were not affected.
