ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -- The city of Altamonte Springs will grow by about 150,000 people on Thursday evening.Spectators have been packing in all day for the annual Red, Hot and Boom Independence Day event.
For no admission cost, people can enjoy vendors, a fireworks show and a concert lineup featuring Ryan Cabrera, Simple Plan and others.Two girls drove from New Jersey for the event."We're having an awesome time. It was far, but it was worth it," one of them said.
