Prosecutors File Theft Charges Against Priests

Pair Accused Of Spending More Than $400K In Church Funds

Prosecutors have refiled grand theft charges against two clergymen accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from their Delray Beach church.

The charges against the Revs. Francis Guinan and John Skehan were dropped in February so both prosecution and defense teams could have more time to prepare their cases.

Guinan's and Skehan's attorneys did not immediately return phone messages or e-mails seeking comment Tuesday.

Authorities said the pair spent more than $400,000 in church funds.
